It's 1864, Julie, a determined white girl from the South, boldly falls in love with Seth, a former slave who was once her father's property, against the backdrop of the Civil War. She stands at a pivotal crossroads, ready to choose between safety of her family in the South or the courageous pursuit of love with Seth in the North.
